Price VKD VAV diffusers are 12 5/8in / 320mm square ceiling diffusers with built-in temperature controls. The VKD has four blade-style dampers that open and close to meter airflow (warm or cold) into the room in response to room temperature. The dampers are mechanically actuated by thermal actuator/thermostats.
Typical Applications
The Varitherm provides personal temperature control by modulating the flow of supply air into a particular space. This diffuser is an excellent choice for small zone VAV applications such as small offices and phone rooms and can be used throughout a building as a primary VAV system. Well suited for retrofit applications, the Varitherm can easily replace traditional diffusers to provide localized control and improved occupant thermal comfort in an existing system.
