Price VLD VAV diffusers are linear ceiling diffusers with built-in temperature controls and VAV damper. The damper blades open and close, metering airflow into the room in response to room temperature. The damper is mechanically positioned by a thermostat/actuator, that is both room thermostat and damper motor.
Typical Applications
The Varitherm series of diffusers provide personal temperature control by modulating the flow of supply air into a particular space. This diffuser is an excellent choice for small zone VAV applications where aesthetics are important and can be used throughout a building as a primary VAV system. Well suited for retrofit applications, the Varitherm can easily replace traditional diffusers to provide localized control and improved occupant thermal comfort in an existing system.
