SUMMARY:Price Engineer Training Intro
DESCRIPTION:The Price Engineer Training (PET) Intro class is designed for Engineers with less than 5 years of experience\, or those looking to brush up on their air distribution knowledge\, and will equip you with the tools and expertise to successfully design spaces. Over 5\,000 engineers have completed this industry renowned program\, hosted in the Price Technical Center East (PTCE) facility. Class sessions will cover the following topics:  \n\nRoom Air Distribution\nThermal Comfort\nFundamentals of VAV Systems\nHVAC Acoustics\nVentilation and Indoor Air Quality\nGRD Manufacturing Factory Tour\n\nAttendees will also have the opportunity to choose from a variety of elective sessions that focus the key technologies that they are most interested in learning about\, such as Healthcare\, Sustainable Solutions\, or Acoustical Analysis. Sessions are taught throughout the Price Technical Center and demonstrate the real-life functionality of air distribution products through flow visualization and environmental simulations. Engineers that complete this program will leave with a superior understanding of air distribution theory and the application of new technologies. \nIf there are questions on whether this class is the right fit\, please reach out to your loca Area Manger or Price Representative. \nPET Intro costs $500 USD and runs Tuesday to Thursday at PTCW - Phoenix\, AZ. \n\n\nRegister Now\n\n\n\n\n\nHost\n\n\nRyan Johnson\, PEManager - Engineering Programs\, Innovation & Learning Ryan has a Master's of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois and 15 years of experience in HVAC research and applications. He oversees development and operation of Price Technical Center East (PTCE)\, Price Engineering Training Programs (PET's)\, and corporate engagement with industry standards (ASHRAE\, AHRI\, etc.). \nHOMETOWNChicago\, IL \nFUN FACTRyan plays the bass guitar (mostly poorly\, but he is improving!) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNearby Dining & Entertainment\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRestaurant Options\n\n\n\n\nOpen PDF\n\n\n\nActivity Options\n\n\n\n\nOpen PDF\n\n\n\nGolf Courses\n\n\n\n\nOpen PDF\n\n\n\n\n\nScreenshot 2025 07 11 At 1.42.55 PM Scaled 1Displacement-SchoolsDisplacement Schools ASHRAE-HeadquartersASHRAE Headquarters Calgary-DNECalgary DNE Screenshot 2025 07 11 At 2.07.57 PM Scaled 1

SUMMARY:Virtual Price Engineer Training Intro
DESCRIPTION:The Price Engineer Training (PET) Virtual class is designed for Engineers with less than 5 years of experience\, or those looking to brush up on their air distribution knowledge. Registrants will follow live interactive sessions online to grow in their knowledge of air distribution - without the need to leave home! Class sessions will explore the following HVAC topics: \n\nThermal Comfort\nRoom Air Distribution\nHVAC Acoustics\nVentilation and IAQ\nAir Terminal Units\nFan Coils\nSustainable Solutions\nHealthcare Applications\nNoise Control Solutions\nReal-World Application of Grilles & Diffusers\n\nThis class will be comprised of ten (10) 1-hour sessions spread over two days. The technical material will be similar to that presented at the in-person PET Intro classes. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with presenters during each live session. This class rewards a total of eleven (11) Professional Development Hours (PDH's). Engineers that complete this program will leave with a superior understanding of air distribution theory and the application of new technologies. \nCLASS TIMES: Wednesday & Thursday online (July 29-30) from 9 am to 3:30 pm EDT with a one-hour lunch break from 12-1 pm EDT. \nCLASS FEE:  The Virtual PET costs $100 USD.
